Gentle winds blew
reaching every part;
body, heart and soul,
yet, he never knew
who came to him
whispering a breath
of her soul,
throughout time,
perhaps
he would never
come to know
the breeze
who runs with the wind,
she arrives
as fast as she goes,
reluctant I suppose,
to stay long enough,
for him to know,
haunted
by the thought,
If she had only stopped
following the wind,
dared to stay
he would have known,
If only
she could have been,
stronger than
the mighty winds;
to make herself
known.
